Former Stockton mayor's bail reduced

Former Stockton mayor Anthony Silva had his bail reduced. 

On Monday morning, a judge reduced Silva's bail from $1 million to $350,000. The former mayor has been sitting in the San Joaquin County Jail since he returned to the country on March 5 from vacation. He was promptly arrested at the San Francisco International Airport

Silva faces six charges, including felony embezzlement and money laundering. His lawyers expect him to be released from jail within 24 hours. Silva has pleaded not guilty to his charges 

The next court hearing is scheduled for April 18.
