An inmate is missing from San Joaquin County after walking away from his work crew on Monday, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

An inmate is missing from San Joaquin County after walking away from his work crew on Monday, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.

The inmate, 27-year-old Corey Hughes, was last seen in the area of I-5 and Country Club. He was a sentenced due to a weapons charge and was housed in the Honor Farm with a release date of February 6, 2018, the sheriff’s office said.

If you see Hughes, the sheriff’s office is requesting people to contact their dispatch at 209-468-4400.
