STOCKTON — Stockton's south firehouse was burglarized Monday morning while firefighters were in the building.

According to a Facebook post, the suspect broke a window and entered into the apparatus bay. The burglar rifled through electronics and gear then entered the firehouse, where he was confronted by an off-duty fireman. 

The suspect threatened the firefighter, stating he had a gun. When the suspect fled, the fire crew chased him, causing the suspect to drop items he was able to grab. The suspect was caught and arrested by the Stockton Police Department.
