FOLSOM — An off-duty Folsom police officer injured by DUI crash. 

According to the Folsom Police Department, around 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, Benjamin Leonard Lucero, 24, of Manteca, and an off-duty officer collided. The officer suffered injuries to his hand and is expected to be released from the hospital soon.

Lucero was driving under the influence of alcohol and was booked into jail for a suspected felony DUI causing injury, and driving with a suspended driver's license.

STOCKTON — The Stockton Police Department are looking for two suspects who tried to break into a resident's home Saturday night. 

According to police reports, two suspects attempted to break-into a home along the 1200 block of N. Sierra Nevada Street around 11 p.m. Saturday. One of the suspects shot the resident after he confronted the two for trying to break-in. The suspects then fled the scene.
