Modesto police spokesperson Heather Graves said the Modesto incident began about 6:30 Monday morning when suspect Maureen Buchanan, 31, went to the victim's home on the 2800 block of Stoneridge Drive. A short time later, two men knocked on the victim's door and Buchanan let them in.

The men, who were wearing masks and armed with a gun, ransacked the victim's house and demanded money, Graves said. They also hit the victim in the head with the gun.

Eventually the intruders left: one of them and Buchanan taking the victim's truck and the other intruder driving off in a 2000-01 dark blue Chevrolet truck with a white camper shell, Graves said.

Buchanan was identified and located by a police officer who recognized her from a photo provided by the victim. Graves said Buchanan was arrested for home invasion robbery, carjacking and conspiracy.

The two male intruders were identified as Daniel Reagan, 27, of Oakdale and Richard White, 38, of Turlock. Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Reagan and/or White, was urged to call Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. Tipsters may also text information to Crime Stoppers at 274637. Just type "TIP704" along with your message.
