Man gets 16 to life in murder in front of Rancho Cordova pet clinic

SACRAMENTO - Tywan Johnson, who was found guilty of torture and second-degree murder for the fatal stabbing of a man outside of a Rancho Cordova pet clinic, has been sentenced 16 years to life in prison, the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office says.

The victim was Jeffery Rozenski, 55. He was mortally injured on the 2800 block of La Loma Drive, Nov. 26, 2012.

At the time, Sacramento County sheriff's detectives said the stabbing was precipitated by an argument about money between Johnson and the victim.
