Roger Waters announces 2017 North American 'Us + Them' tour stop at Golden 1 Center

Fresh off his politically charged performance at the Desert Trip music festival in California, Roger Waters says he'll launch a 51-city North American tour next year, including a stop in Sacramento.

The Pink Floyd co-founder says he's planning a new multimedia show and will unveil new music on the "Us + Them" tour beginning May 26, 2017, in Kansas City. He's also wrapping up a new album that he says includes "the first love songs I've ever written."

Rogers is scheduled to stop at the Golden 1 Center on June 12. Along with Waters' solo material, the show will include Pink Floyd's signature songs.

The 73-year-old singer-songwriter dazzled audiences with his Desert Trip performance on Oct. 9 that featured custom animation on a 240-foot-long digital screen and a quadrophonic audio system built just for the event. He's set to repeat the performance on Sunday.

Pre-sale tickets for Citi cardholders and VIP packages go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, through www.citiprivatepass.com. General admission tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 21 through agelive.com and rogerwaters.com.
