Roseville police seeking man suspected in car break-ins

SACRAMENTO – A man captured on a surveillance camera is sought in connection numerous vehicle break-ins in a Roseville neighborhood.

Roseville Police Spokesperson Dee Dee Gunther said officers responded to Cambridge Court in the Cirby Ranch neighborhood at 7:22 a.m. in response to a report of a man getting out of a van and peering into the windows of cars parked in the court. Officers searched the neighborhood but were unable to locate the man.

Police subsequently received reports of five vehicles on Pine Valley Circle and Daisy Court either being broken into, or having items taken from them, Gunther said.

The suspect was described as a white man in his 20s with short brown hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans with suspenders.

The van from which the man exited was described as resembling a Chevy Astro van.
