Sacramento free flu clinic draws hundreds

SACRAMENTO - It appears there is still a big demand for flu shots, as evidenced by the turnout at a free flu shot clinic held by the County of Sacramento Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday.

There was a line out the door and into the parking lot for the 1,400 vaccines, according to News10's Walt Gray.

Gray said most of those he talked to at the clinic said it was the first time they've gotten a flu immunization.

The event honors a News10 employee, Nancy Pinella who died from H1N1 flu virus complications less than two weeks.
