Sacramento man arrested after allegedly knocking down two elderly woman during robbery

Roseville detectives on Thursday arrested a Sacramento man after he allegedly knocked down two elderly women while he was running out of a store with stolen merchandise, according to the Roseville Police Department

At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 22, police say witnesses saw a man run out of the Home Depot on Fairway Drive in Roseville carrying several stolen power tools. The man allegedly ran into and knocked down two shoppers, a woman in her late 60s and a woman in her late 80s. The suspect proceeded to get into a getaway car and fled the scene, police 

The older woman went to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Authorities were able to identify the suspect following the incident, and later arrested 30-year-old Mykel Jonathan Brown at his home in Sacramento on suspicion of burglary, battery causing serious injury, elder abuse and conspiracy.
