Stanford sex assault survivor named one of Glamour's Women of the Year

Glamour Magazine released its Women of the Year list.

One woman is making a major statement on rape and sexual assault and we don't even know her real name.

We’ve come to know her as ‘Emily Doe.’

She is the sexual assault survivor in the case of former Stanford swimmer Brock Turner.

You may remember her victim’s impact statement from court. It was read millions of times around the world and now she's penning more powerful words for the first time since Turner’s sentencing.

All the Women of the Year will be honored at a ceremony on November 14, 2016 in Los Angeles. You can live stream it on the magazine’s Facebook page.

"Blackish" star Tracee Ellis Ross is hosting.

The other women honored will include: Gwen Stefani, Simone Biles, the three women who founded #BlackLivesMatter movement: Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi, Ashley Graham, Christine Lagarde, Nadia Murad, Miuccia Prada and Zendaya.

Glamour is also honoring its first Man of the Year: Bono.
