Stockton Police searching for wheelchair-dependent homicide suspect

The Stockton Police Department is searching for a man who they say shot and killed a man who was sitting in his car late Friday night.

Police said they responded to a shooting in the 4400 block of Calandria St at 10:30 p.m.. When officers arrived, the found a 21-year-old unconscious man who had a single gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Officers are searching for Erek Williams, an 18-year-old they say has ties to the Bay Area and is dependent on a wheelchair. Williams is 6-foot-3, weighs 190 pounds and is considered by police to be armed and dangerous.
