Stockton family reunited with missing Yorkie after break-in

SACRAMENTO - A Stockton family's pleas for the return of their missing beloved dog were answered Monday morning.

Owner Nancy Burruel said she believed Zoe, a 10-year-old Yorkie, was stolen during a break-in at her home in the West Mendocino area of Stockton Wednesday, March 26.

Burruel said she left her home to run a few quick errands and when she returned she found the security gate open, the side door kicked in, and little Zoe gone.

Televisions, computers and jewelry were all stolen during the invasion but it was Zoe Burruel begged to have returned.

"We have a thousand-dollar reward and we'll do anything to get her back," a tearful Burruel implored. "We won't ask any questions. We just need her back because she only knows us and we can't live without her, but I know she can't live without us."

Zoe's reunion with the Burreuls Monday morning means neither will have to live without each other for the foreseeable future.
