Stockton police release video of homicide suspect

SACRAMENTO - The Stockton Police Department released a video Thursday of a man suspected of fatally stabbing another man Wednesday night during a fight.

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of S. California Street around 5:16 p.m. in response to a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a 32-year-old man who had been stabbed, Stockton police spokesperson Joe Silva said.

The victim was transported to the local hospital, where he died of his injuries Thursday morning.

The ensuing investigation revealed that the suspect and victim had been in a fight when the victim was stabbed according to Silva.

Silva described the suspect in the video as a bald black man with a goatee. He was in his 50s, 6-feet tall and weighed 240 pounds.
