Taking it easy on a stormy Sacramento Sunday

What do you for fun when regular weekend outdoor activities are out because of stormy weather? What do people do instead?

I went on a search to find what there is to do in Sacramento when it’s wet outside.

I first headed over to Tower Theatre. It was pretty crowded, especially later on a Sunday afternoon.

"We're here to escape from the rain and get out of the house," said Shari Wilson who came with her family to watch a movie.

We weren't allowed to go inside, so we headed over to Capitol Bowl in West Sacramento.

A lot of lanes were full of people relaxing and [duh] bowling.

"It's great to be home, but it's also nice to go out in this weather," said Jonathan Sykov who went bowling with his friends.

Our next stop was Rubicon Brewing. We talked to several people at the bar.

"We're watching the games," said Kenzie Gleason. "We're drinking with a purpose."

However, the crowd wasn't as big as I would have thought.

In fact, most of the businesses we checked out weren’t seeing a lot of customers.

A lot of people I talked to told me when it's cold and wet outside, they're not in the mood to go out.

"I woke up at 8 (a.m.) and I looked outside and I'm like, ‘OK I'm going back to bed,’” said Sandra Bond, Sacramento resident.
