Time lapse: NCAA Tournament court installed at Golden 1 Center

Sacramento is just three days away from hosting the Division I Men’s College Basketball Tournament for the first time in 10 years and preparations continued Tuesday with the tournament hardwood being installed at Golden 1 Center.

Following Monday night’s Kings game, crews at Golden 1 Center placed down the official March Madness court in anticipation of the first and second round games being played on March 17 and 19.

While a total of 14 courts are installed throughout the duration of the tournament across the U.S., Golden 1 Center’s features a special color specific to Sacramento and the host school Sacramento State’s logo.
