Tornado warnings lifted for parts of Nevada, Yuba counties

Storms briefly roll through Northern California Thursday afternoon. (April 13, 2017)

The National Weather Service says tornado warnings issued at 4 p.m. Thursday for Nevada and Yuba counties have been lifted. 

According to the NWS, funnel clouds, which rarely touch the ground, were spotted throughout the area, with some being seen in Rancho Cordova.
