Uber driver talks about kidnapping female customers in Davis

Police are looking for an Uber driver who talked about kidnapping customers Saturday night.

According to the UC Davis Police Department, around 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, a man claiming to be an Uber driver picked up two female customers. During the drive, he made comments to the women about kidnapping them to Sacramento. 

The women were not physically injured during the ride. They called police once they arrived at their destination.

The women described the driver as a bald white male in his 40s with a goatee and a profile name of “Shaun.” He also may have been wearing black leather gloves with the finger tips cut off. The vehicle was described as a four door Kia Forte, with unknown license plate. The interior of the car has color changing lights along floorboards.
