Woman wanted for alleged involvement in fatal Solano County hit-and-run

Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a woman, Adrianna Melendez, for her alleged involvement in an accident which caused the death of a bicyclist in Solano County in 2014.

On March 26, 2014, a bicyclist riding on a country road in an unincorporated part of Solano County was struck and killed by a vehicle, according to officials. The driver fled the scene following the incident.

Melendez, 26, was identified as the alleged driver of the vehicle after further investigation, and a warrant was issued for her arrest in May of 2014. She was also charged with vehicular homicide and hit-and-run.

In April of 2017, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Melendez after she was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution as she still hasn’t been located, officials said.

A $10,000 reward has been issued for information leading to Melendez’s location, arrest and conviction.
