Police: South Land Park home where quadruple homicide occurred broken into

The South Land Park home where a quadruple homicide occurred last month was broken into on Wednesday, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police say on March 23, Salvador Vasquez-Oliva, 56, killed his wife Angelique Vasquez, 45, his two children Alvin Vasquez, 11, Mia Vasquez, 14, and his niece, 21-year-old Ashley Coleman inside a South Land Park home.

On April 5, Sacramento police say the same house was broken into after witnesses reported seeing someone walking away from the house and called police. 

Officers say it's unclear if anything was taken from the residence.

There is currently no description of the suspect and nobody is in custody.
