Kudos to Oakland A's outfielder Josh Reddick for bravely breaking MLB's Wham! barrier and using Careless Whisper as a walk-up song. Reasonable baseball fans everywhere have long awaited the pioneering player willing to risk everything to honor George Michael's seminal breakup ballad and its devastating saxophone melody.
Reddick tripled and walked against White Sox starter John Danks, who was presumably too overwhelmed with heartache to make his pitches.
Here's the song in its entirety. It also makes a wonderful choice at karaoke bars.
