SACRAMENTO - Point guard Jordan Farmar was released by the Sacramento Kings for the second time in less than a month.
Kings general manager Vlade Divac announced the transaction on Monday afternoon.
Farmar, 29, was first waived by Sacramento on Oct. 24 as the final roster was set following training camp. He was signed last Wednesday, once a roster slot became available for suspended guard Darren Collison.
Collison's league issued eight-game suspension has been served and he returns to the Kings' rotation on Tuesday when they host the winless New Orleans Pelicans at Golden 1 Center.
Farmar appeared in two games for Sacramento and averaged 6.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists in thos contests. He scored nine points and dished out a team-high seven assists against the Bucks in a 117-91 loss Milwaukee last Saturday.
