Pro Football Hall of Famers inspire local youth

The Strong Youth, Strong Communities Summit is part of a nationwide initiative that helps NFL stars invest in youth and make a positive impact on their lives.

Hundreds of local youth had the opportunity to hear from Cardinals great Aeneas Williams, longtime Bengal Anthony Munoz and Redskins legend Darrell Green as part of the Strong Youth, Strong Communities summit in Sacramento.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame players donned their gold jackets inside the Sacramento Convention Center where they led discussions on topics such as bullying and self-esteem. SYSC equips youth with life skills, resources, and leadership-focused engagement to unlock potential, promote active thinking and sound judgment, and connect them with adult thought leaders and mentors committed to developing youth leaders.

Participants had the opportunity to go to the Kings game after the summit as part of the free event.
