After the infamous, anachronistic water bottle shot in the Downton Abbey Season 5 photo that came out this week, the cast has decided to fully embrace the gaffe and use it to do a little good.

The "oops" promotional photo featured the Earl of Grantham (played by Hugh Bonneville) and Lady Edith Crawley (played by Laura Carmichael) in front of a fireplace during the 1920s -- however, in the background an item from the 21st Century popped up:

The cast followed up the gaffe with this tweet early Saturday morning:

The tweet is promoting the work of the UK-based non-profit organization WaterAid. The non-profit helps provide clean and sanitary water to the poorest parts of the world.

"It brought a really big smile to my face when the cast of Downton Abbey said that they wanted to support WaterAid's work," WaterAid Chief Executive Barbara Frost said on the non-profit's website. "How fantastic that the attention created over one water bottle ends up benefiting some of the world's poorest communities through access to safe, clean water today."
