Video game publisher Deep Silver's parent company, Koch Media, has acquired the Homefront brand and everything that goes with it from troubled video games company Crytek. This includes Homefront: The Revolution. a game which was originally announced by Crytek on June 2.
"We are thrilled to see another great IP joining the Deep Silver universe," said Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media Group. Deep Silver is also known for titles such as Saints Row and Metro: Last Light.
Koch Media says the development of The Revolution will be continued in newly founded, Nottingham-based Deep Silver Dambuster Studios.
"We strongly believe in the potential of Homefront: The Revolution and trust in the new team to continue the path they have been walking in the last years," Kindratitz said.
Deep Silver Dambuster Studios is the third development studio within the Koch Media Group, joining Deep Silver Volition and Deep Silver Fishlabs.
