Daniela Pardo is a reporter at ABC10 in Sacramento, Calif., specializing in general assignment reporting.

Daniela joined the ABC10 team in October of 2017. The Southern California native is thrilled to be back in her home state after spending some time away working in Colorado and Texas.

Before leaving the Golden State, Daniela was a traffic producer at the ABC station in Los Angeles. While in college, she interned for NBCLA, Dateline, KTLA5, and served as an entertainment correspondent for NTN24, a Spanish-speaking news network.

Prior to joining ABC10, Daniela was the morning show reporter for the NBC affiliate in El Paso, Texas. During her time in the Southwest, she spent two months traveling back and forth between El Paso and Juárez to cover Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S-Mexico border.

Her passion for storytelling began at a young age when she would anxiously wait to watch the news every evening with her mom, who was also a journalist in her native country of Colombia.

On her time off, Daniela loves hiking, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family. Daniela is looking forward to exploring the Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto area, and would love to hear your story ideas and restaurant recommendations.
