Jessie Kane is the News Content Director at KXTV ABC10 in Sacramento, California.

Jessie joined ABC10 in June 2017. In her role, she oversees the locally-produced news shows on the station. Since joining the team, Jessie has also had fun overseeing the station’s Old Sac fireworks show on New Year’s Eve and Oscars programming.

Jessie has been with ABC10’s parent company, TEGNA, since 2002. She’s been a Producer at KREM in Spokane, Washington; WCNC in Charlotte, North Carolina; and KING in Seattle, Washington. She was an Executive Producer at KING before transferring to ABC10 to become the Broadcast Managing Editor.

Jessie is an award-winning journalist. She has won three regional Emmy awards for her content creation at KING. Her award-winning work includes newscasts and investigative specials. She has received Emmy nominations for her work at WCNC, KING and ABC10. While at KING, Jessie also received a first place regional award from the Society of Professional Journalists.

Jessie graduated from the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Go Cougs!
