Mayde Gomez is an anchor/reporter at ABC10 in Sacramento, Calif., specializing in general assignment reporting.

Mayde joined ABC10 in June 2018.

Before her arrival in Sacramento, Mayde reported for ABC7 in Los Angeles where she covered an array of stories--from the major Southern California fires, to the San Bernardino shooting and Pope Francis’ visit to Mexico City and Texas.

Prior to ABC7 Mayde worked as a Reporter for KSAT 12 San Antonio’s SA Live. Before that she was the Lead Reporter for the Spanish news station KVDA Telemundo 60.

Mayde began her Broadcasting career at Telemundo 39 in Dallas, where she started as a Production Assistant and worked her way up to fill-in Editor.

She is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Mayde is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalist. She’s an avid runner and foodie!

She loves to hear from viewers, whether it’s to say hello, pitch a story idea or have a recommendation for a restaurant.
