SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Monica Coleman is the Weekend Morning Anchor at ABC10 in Sacramento, California.
Before arriving at ABC10, Monica worked for little over a year at KIDY FOX at ABC10’s sister station in San Angelo, Texas. There, she was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor.
Born in San Jose and raised in Austin Texas, Monica earned her Multi-Platform Journalism degree from Sam Houston State University, with a minor in political science. While in college, she worked for Bearkat Sports with ESPN3, where she covered Sam Houston State baseball, basketball, and football, conducting post and pre-game interviews and shooting highlights. Monica also interned at two television stations in Houston, KPRC Channel 2 and FOX 26, where she wrote articles for its website and assisted on news stories daily.
When not working on a story, you can find Monica at the gym, doing yoga or trying out a new winery.
