10 Things to do this weekend in Northern California | Jan. 10-12

Onesies, ice skating, beer, hot chocolate, and 49ers *playoff* football. This weekend’s events are all over the map and then some.

Just because it is the dead of winter does not mean that there isn’t a bevy of things to do, both inside and outdoors, in Northern California this weekend.

If you haven’t been to the Downtown Sacramento Ice Rink yet, you don’t have much time left! This weekend, 102.5 KSFM is hosting a special event called “Hella Lit Ice Party at the rink with a live DJ to kick off your Saturday in style.  The rink will shut down for the season on January 20.

If you are in the Midtown area Saturday night, and you have a onesie, then you can join the Onesie Bar Crawl. If you sign up you can get access to lots of awesome drink and food specials, as well as a souvenir LED wristband, glasses, and a T-shirt.

Parents! If you need a night out, but can’t find a babysitter last minute, then consider dropping off your kiddos at Pajama Llama Kids Night in Rocklin. The event runs for about two and a half hours and provides children ages 5 and up with lots of activities and food to fill the evening.

Two unique runs happening this weekend come with two of the world’s best inventions: Chocolate and beer! The first run takes place Saturday morning at Folsom Lake. The IPA Beer Trail Run is a rough-and-tumble wilderness run that starts at Granite Beach. Runners can sign up for a 5K or a 12K race. In San Francisco, the Allstate Hot Chocolate run is going down in Golden Gate Park with a 5K and 15K race. Runners in either race will be treated to an array of awesome goodies at the finish line!

Those are just a few of the things that are happening this weekend. Scroll on down to read more!
