MODESTO, Calif. — Former American Idol finalist and Modesto native Ryan Hammond will host a concert at Modesto High School on Friday.
Hammond, 25, will be joined by 2018 Idol finalist Effie Passero, who’s also a native of Modesto. The concert will feature some performances from the show as well as some of Hammond’s original music.
Margie Mays and Nick Townsend, who were finalists on the 2019 season of American Idol, will also be performing at the concert.
The show is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Modesto High School, located at 18 H Street. Tickets range in cost from $25 to $40. VIP tickets are also on sale and buyers will receive early entry, priority seating and entrance into a meet and greet with the artists and a Q&A session.
The show is sponsored by Modesto High’s Performing Arts Academy and Gates Team at NextHome CSR.
Hammond made it to the Top 20 on the show before being cut as the contestants were whittled down to 14.
