SACRAMENTO, Calif — People are getting ready for St. Patrick's Day, where revelers often drink Irish-themed cocktails, beers or whiskeys while eating corned beef, cabbage, and other holiday-appropriate foods.

March 15

32nd Annual St. Patrick's Day

Time: 12 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Where: Jamie's Bar and Grill, 427 Broadway, Sacramento, 95818

Details: They will have corned beef and cabbage.

March 16

Old Sacramento St. Patrick's Day Parade

Time: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Where: Old Sacramento Water Front, Front Street, Sacramento, 95814

Details: The parade will include Irish and Highland Dancers, pipe and drum bands and several other cultural organizations for the 23rd annual parade.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Time: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Where: Dreaming Dog Brewery, 2501 West Taron Court, Elk Grove, 95757

Details: The Pressure Lounge and World Fare food truck will be there. The food service is planned to begin at 5:30 p.m. and the Pressure Lounge takes the stage at 7 p.m.

3rd Annual St. Patty's Day Bash feat. Tony R and RhythMethoD

Time: 9:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Where: Off Broadway Blues and Jazz Cafe, 2863 35th St., Sacramento, 95817

Details: The event costs $15 until March 16 at 3 p.m. then tickets cost $20 at the door.

March 17

St. Paddy's Day Celebration Street Party

Time: 6 a.m. - 12 a.m.

Where: Father Paddy's Irish Public House, 435 Main St., Woodland, 95695

St. Patrick's Day

Time: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Where: Malt and Mash, 715 K St., Sacramento, 95814

Details: There is a $10 cover charge and 3 bands performing from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Party at Babe's Lounge

Time: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Where: Babe's Lounge, 9021 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, 95624

Details: They will have green beer, green mimosas and a cornhole tournament.

St. Patrick's Day at Streets

Time: 10 a.m. - March 18 1 a.m.

Where: Streets Pub and Grub, 1804 J St., Sacramento, 95814

Details: They will be opening up the back area so there is more room for drinking. Starting around 3 p.m. there will be a band. Some of the drink specials include green beer and peanut butter car bombs.

St. Patrick's Tap Handle Cornhole

Time: 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Where: Big Sexy Brewing Co., 5861 88th St., Suite 800, Sacramento, 95828

Details: The cornhole tournament is the main event. There is a $10 fee to play and it is a bring-your-own-bags event.

Coin-Op Game Room presents: St. Patrick's Day

Time: 12 p.m. - March 18 2 a.m.

Where: Coin-Op Sacramento, 908 K St., Sacramento, 95814

Details: They will have two Irish-themed cocktails and corned beef breakfast pizza.
