Floyd Mayweather's ex-girlfriend, mother of his kids found dead in Southern California

Her body was found in Valencia, California on Tuesday night.
There may be no other athlete more uncertain of retirement than Floyd Mayweather. The boxer retired in 2006, returned in 2007, retired again in 2008, came back again in 2009 and continued to fight through 2016. He still hasn't officially retired.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Josie Harris, former boxer Floyd Mayweather's ex- girlfriend, was found dead in a vehicle parked in the driveway of her home in Valencia, it was reported Wednesday.

The body was found about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 25700 block of Oak Meadow Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities have not confirmed the name of the woman, whose identity was reported by TMZ.com.

The cause of death was not immediately known.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that there did not appear to be foul play involved in the death of Harris, 40, who had three children with Mayweather.

Mayweather was convicted of attacking Harris in a 2010 domestic violence incident and later served two months behind bars, TMZ reported.
