Come awards season, expect to hear 'First Man' called often. The movie tells the story of the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Ryan Gosling stars as Neil Armstrong, the first person to set foot on the moon. Gosling reunites with director Damien Chazelle, after a successful partnership in 'La La Land.'
Mark S. Allen met with the stars and director at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, FL. He also talked with NASA historian Bill Barry and several of the children of Apollo 11 astronauts. Bonnie White, the daughter of astronaut Ed White, even shared some never before seen pictures of life as a space family.
