Most musicians only think about their next gig or how to promote their band or brand. Shadia Powell is a singer and music promoter who felt that the local music scene was very divided and musicians who just wanted to share their love of music didn't have a venue. Shadia started the "Music is Love-The Movement, " which is comprised of one night music concerts that showcase diverse artists. Shadia along with singer J ALi discuss why this type of event is so beneficial to spreading a love for music and supporting local artists.
