The guests are coming so it's time to get ready.
This is a fast and easy way to be prepared and have your company feel at home.
Kim Salisbury, a professional organizer, starts with the basics like towels and sheets. She also adds some extras to give it a special touch. Local magazines are a fun way to check out what's happening in a different city.
She says, when packing the bag, think about what makes you feel special in a hotel.
Something else to keep in mind are items we might forget or don't want to keep dragging out of the bag. Salisbury always packs in an extra charger and even displays the WiFi password so the guests don't feel like they have to ask.
Salisbury also finds ways to put in practical items. For instance, if the guest is sleeping on an air mattress, they might not have a side table. She includes a small container in the bag that will double as a place for a clock and phone.
When the guests leave, everything gets cleaned and put right back into the bag for storage.
