Need help convincing your kid that Santa Claus is real? The United States Postal Service is here to help.
As part of a 100-year-old program, the USPS will send your reply letters from Santa - adding a touch of authenticity this year with a special North Pole Postmark.
All “Letters from Santa” have to be received by the postmaster no later than December 8 in order to participate in the program,
Here’s what you need to do to get your child a personalized response from St. Nick:
- Have your kid write a letter to Santa and address the envelope to "Santa Claus, North Pole."
- When alone, open the envelope and write a personalized response! If you're stumped, the USPS suggests highlighting your child’s accomplishments from over the past year.
- Place the reply letter in an envelope addressed to the child with the return address “Santa, North Pole."
- Add a First-Class Mail stamp to the envelope.
- Following that, get a larger envelope, like a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope, and place the addressed envelope to your child inside. The larger envelope will need appropriate postage and has to be addressed to:

Postmaster

Anchorage, AK 99530-9998
The end result will be a personalized letter from Santa to your child with a special North Pole Postmark.
