The best mimosas in Northern California | You tell us!

Where do you go to get the best mimosa? We asked and you answered.

CALIFORNIA, USA — May 16 is National Mimosa Day. So, grab your friends and head out to brunch with the best mimosas you can get your hands on!

While a so-so mimosa is still a delicious drink, you want to celebrate with the best mimosa near you. On National Mimosa Day 2019, we took to the ABC10 Facebook page to ask our followers "where do you go to get the best mimosa?"

HAPPY NATIONAL MIMOSA DAY! If you brunch without drinking a mimosa, did you actually brunch at all?

1. Mimosa House

The answer to where to find the best Mimosas in Northern California came pretty easy for a lot of our Facebook followers, naming Mimosa House as the top spot in town. The popular restaurant has locations in El Dorado Hills, Roseville, Folsom, East Sacramento and Rancho Cordova. Whether you are a fan of the traditional brunch drink or want to try a new variation, like the Jolly Rancher or Margarita Pom Pom, the Mimosa House has the flavor for you. Did we mention they also have a "Pretty in Pink" menu which is on special on Wednesdays because on Wednesdays "we drink pink."

2. Lenise's Cafe

Lenise's Cafe on Jefferson Blvd. in West Sacramento describes itself as a "European Style Cafe." The restaurant's mimosas and fruity mimosas cost around $5, except for during Happy Hour Monday through Friday, when they cost $3.50. If you aren't interested in buying just one, Lenise's does offer unlimited Mimosas on Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for $11.99

Come by for bottomless mimosas for $9.99 from 9am-2pm or $3 mimosas all day!!! Cheers!♡♡

3. Mimosa Gourmet

ABC10 Facebook Follower Nicole Dunlap suggests Mimosa Gourmet as the best mimosas in Northern California and while we can't say whether or not they are the best, they may actually be the biggest. Mimosas Gourmet on El Dorado Street in Stockton has several types of Mimosas but a quick look on Instagram and Facebook show they are most well known for their Giant Mimosas. The party-sized mimosa is served in a giant goblet and costs around $35.

4. Squeeze In

While the Squeeze In website says they have the "best omelettes on the planet," ABC10 Facebook Follower Brian Carlson is standing up for a different menu item. While Squeeze In has locations across Nevada, there are only three locations in all of California, including Truckee, Modesto and Chino Hills. The huge menu, which is illustrated with an alien theme, shows tons of options, including the House Mimosa and the Ruby Fizz, which is similar to a mimosa but with grapefruit juice instead of orange juice. A large mimosa can run around $7 and a pitcher to share with friends costs $26.

So there you have it! The best places to grab a mimosa in Northern California, according to our friends on our Facebook page. Did we miss any? Let us know!
