Where to go for a free Thanksgiving meal

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and organizations in Sacramento are offering free meals to those in need for the holiday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Thanksgiving is just days away. Several organizations within Sacramento are giving out free meals to those in need. Here is how you can get a free dinner this holiday.

Loaves & Fishes

Loaves & Fishes is serving free meals on Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Attendees need to get a ticket at Friendship Park, which is located at 1200 N C Street, Sacramento 95811. 

Tickets are available from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral scheduled two Thanksgiving meal giveaways for the homeless this week.

The two Thanksgiving events are on Nov. 27 at 6 p.m. and Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. 

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is located at 2620 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento.

St. John's Lutheran Church

St. John's Lutheran Church is scheduled to give out free meals on Nov. 27 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.  

St. John's Lutheran Church is located on 1701 L Street, Sacramento.
