Redding Fire Department welcomes 12 babies after Carr Fire

The fire department featured nine mothers and their 12 babies for a photoshoot. Hold on. Those numbers do not seem to add up.

REDDING, Calif — The Redding Fire Department got a whole lot bigger recently.

That's because they welcomed 12 babies to nine families of firefighters. The babies come nearly a year after the Carr Fire.

Hold on, you might be thinking to yourself, that math does not seem right. It's because there are three sets of twins in the photo.

"It was another great time to honor their hard work, dedication, and love on the home front," the Redding Fire Department said in a press release.
