A former Citrus Heights K9 has passed away. K9 Bruno died Tuesday night.
The department announced the death Wednesday on social media.
"Bruno kept many of our officers safe during the years," said Chief Lawrence. "[Bruno] aided in numerous arrests throughout the region, and provided outstanding service to our community.”
