The City of Sacramento has given Joshua’s House the approval to move forward and develop a hospice shelter for the homeless.
The decision will make the facility in North Sacramento the first hospice for the homeless on the West Coast. The hospice will be near Loaves and Fishes, a well-known homeless shelter.
Joshua’s House will have 24-hour staffing and hopes to house at least 20 people at a time.
