A former Sacramento after school program employee will be sentenced to 150 years to life in prison for abusing six children.

Joshua Vasquez pled guilty to six counts of counts of committing lewd acts upon a child, the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office said Friday. His sentencing is set for Oct. 28.

The district attorney’s office said Vasquez developed friendships with his victims at the Sacramento City Unified School District after school program. The victims were between the ages of 7 and 13.

“While on school grounds, Vasquez took the children into his classroom, locked the door, and blindfolded them while he played different ‘games’… which were all designed to have the children touch Vasquez’s genitals,” the district attorney’s office said in a press release.
