Man who allegedly pimped two women arrested in 3-month investigation, Auburn police say

The case stems back to October when Auburn police arrested two women on prostitution and pimping charges.

AUBURN, Calif. — A man suspected of pimping two women is behind bars after a 3-month investigation by Auburn Police Department.

On Jan. 31, Ivy Jones was arrested on charges of pimping and pandering after police served a search warrant at a Sacramento apartment complex on Danbrook Drive.

Police say the arrest stemmed from a three-month investigation that started in Auburn.

Back in October 2019, Auburn police did a Human Trafficking and Pimping Operation that saw two women arrested on prostitution and pimping charges. Police say the case led to evidence that Jones was their pimp.

Jones was booked into Placer County Jail with a bail of $265,000. The arrest  was made with help from the Sacramento County Probation Department.
