LODI, Calif. — Lodi police are searching for a suspect they say shot a 19-year-old in the face in a parking lot Tuesday.
According to police, the shooting happened just before 12:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Reynolds Ranch Parkway. When officers arrived they learned two men had been arguing in the parking lot and one of them pulled out a handgun and shot the other.
Both the shooter and the victim left after the shooting in separate vehicles.
The 19-year-old victim drove himself to the hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the face. He remains in critical condition.
Police say the suspect, who may be a Hispanic man, is in his late teens or early twenties. He may have short facial hair and be driving a silver or gray newer model sedan.
