Person shot in back during Manteca drive-by shooting, police say

Manteca police are looking for an early 2000's black Lexus GS430 or similar car.

MANTECA, Calif. — Manteca police say they are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Sunday afternoon.

Police said the drive-by happened on the 500 block of Gold Street around 4:48 p.m.

One person was shot in the back and arm and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for the suspect vehicle, which they described as an early 2000's black Lexus GS430 or similar car.

The investigation is still going on, and police are asking people to avoid the area.
