Modesto crash involving stolen car leaves at least 2 injured, police say

MODESTO, Calif. — Modesto police say two to three people have been injured after crash involving a stolen car.

The crash happened at Woodland and Diablo Avenue in Modesto.

Before the crash, an officer saw a car that was recognized as stolen, but eventually lost sight of it.

Moments later, police got a 911 call about a crash between two cars at Woodland and Diablo. One of the cars involved was the stolen car, police said.

Information is still being processed, but police say at least two, possibly three, people, had moderate injuries from the crash and were taken to the hospital. Police said one of those injured was the driver of the stolen car, who'll be arrested once gets out of the hospital.
