Police Sergeant arrested, allegedly linked to prostitution

Sergeant Jason Bemowski is a 16-year veteran of the Chino Police Department. He was arrested on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.

ROSEVILLE, Calif. — A Human Trafficking Investigation ends with the arrest of a Chino Police Department Sergeant, according to the Roseville Police Department.

Chino Police Sergeant Jason Bemowski was arrested on Thursday, March 7, as part of a human trafficking investigation being conducted by the Roseville Police Department involving a 16-year-old female victim.

Bemowski, a 16-year veteran of the Chino Police Department, was arrested on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The alleged offenses happened while he was off duty at a house in the City of Redlands, according to investigators. The Chino Police Department is cooperating fully with the agencies involved in the investigation.

Anthony Harrison was also arrested Thursday, the department said, on charges of trafficking and pimping and pandering. The 24-year-old is being held at the South Placer Jail on $1 million bail.

The investigation, carried out by the Roseville Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit, is an ongoing collaboration between the Roseville Police Department and the Redlands Police Department.
