STOCKTON, California — Saturday was a busy night for the San Joaquin County Sideshow Task Force.

The task force did what they call a "Sideshow Mission" in Stockton.

Authorities said there 116 traffic stops, 60 citations, six towed vehicles, 18 vehicle inspections, six state referee referrals, and four arrests.

Among those arrests was a weapons arrest, where officers say they stopped a speeding vehicle and arrested Gerardo Torres, 40. Authorities said he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and having a loaded gun in the car.

The operation included personnel from the San Joaquin county Sheriff's Office and Manteca Police Department.

This latest enforcement effort comes after the task force seized two dozen cars and issued more than 70 citations on Thursday night.
