STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton police have found no motive as they investigate the death of a woman found inside a home.

On Feb. 7, officers originally went to the 7000 block of Village Green Drive after they got a report of an opened door. However, when officers arrived, they found a woman dead inside the home.

Authorities said the woman died from trauma to her body in a 'severe attack'. 

Police say they have found no motive at this time.

As the investigation went on, police said they learned that a black 2003 GMC stepside truck with California license plate 7D15224 was stolen from the home by a white or Hispanic male.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or the suspect can call law enforcement at 911. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Stockton Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $10,000.
